Our swimming lesson programme follows The National Plan for Teaching Swimming in partnership with the ASA.
It is delivered over a 10 week course consisting of a 30 minutes lesson every week.

The following courses are available:
For babies and young children from 4months – 3years these classes are designed to build water confidence through play. The child is accompanied in the water by a parent/guardian with help from a fully qualified ASA teacher.
The classes are held:
Monday 10:00am – 10:30am
Wednesday 10:00am – 10:30am
Friday 10:00am -11:00am
For children of 3-4 years
A class of 6 children will be in the small pool with a fully qualified ASA teacher in the water.
The Pre-School lessons are held:
Monday 10:30am – 12:00pm & 1:00pm – 3:00pm
Wednesday 10:30am – 12:00pm & 1:00pm – 3:00pm
Friday 11:00am – 12:00pm & 1:00pm – 2:30pm
For children 4 years +
A class of 8 children will be in the main pool with a fully qualified ASA teacher on the side.
The lessons are held:
Monday Friday 4:00pm – 7:00pm
Saturday 8:30am – 12:00pm
Sunday 10:00am – 1:00pm
RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. This course will not only train you to become a Pool Lifeguard but it can also be a stepping stone into a career in the leisure industry. Topics covered are; Pool Rescue Techniques, Lifeguard Theory, First Aid, CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
The course is physically demanding and will include swimming to set times, lifting casualties and diving to the deepest part of the pool.
